Runa Khan, known for her remarkable weight-loss journey, has become a prime target for fraudulent marketers misusing her intellectual property and videos on social media platforms like Facebook. These scammers are promoting fake products with doctored videos of the actress endorsing their weight-loss items.
Expressing her frustration, Runa stated that numerous fake pages have been using her images and interviews to falsely claim that she achieved her weight loss through their products. Despite facing these deceptive practices, she emphasized her longstanding stance against endorsing slimming products or undergoing any aesthetic procedures.
In a recent interview titled “Runa Khan Reborn,” Runa revealed her journey and shared her disappointment at being repeatedly associated with weight loss in media coverage. She highlighted her diverse career in theatre, television, modeling, films, and OTT projects, emphasizing her preference for work that brings her joy rather than seeking viral fame.
Addressing the negative reactions and rejection she faces, Runa acknowledged the challenges of navigating the industry’s expectations and emphasized the importance of mutual respect and acceptance of differing opinions.
Additionally, Runa announced the upcoming release of two of her films, “Balughori” (2006) and “Unadittya” (2008), which were shot nearly two decades ago. Despite challenges, she expressed her excitement for audiences to finally have the opportunity to watch these films after a long wait.
