A Bangladeshi documentary titled “Beyond Peace – Story of Goundam” has earned a prestigious spot in the Cannes Film Agency Catalogue 2025, showcasing a notable accomplishment for the country’s film sector. Directed by NH Tuhin and produced by Moied Mohammad Robel, the film narrates a compelling story unfolding in the rugged yet breathtaking terrain of Goundam, located in southern Sahara, Mali. It chronicles the remarkable endeavors of UN peacekeepers who successfully converted a desolate desert into a thriving green paradise despite formidable challenges.
