The Zainul Gallery, located at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the University of Dhaka, unveiled a new solo art exhibit titled “Poetry of Time” featuring the artistic creations of Samina Zaman on Thursday, October 9, starting at 11:30 am. Dr. Abdus Sattar, a distinguished Professor from the Department of Oriental Art, was the esteemed guest who officially opened the event. Dr. Azharul Islam Sheikh, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, graced the occasion as a special guest. The ceremony was overseen by Gopal Chandra Trivedi, the Chair of the Department of Oriental Art, and curated by Dr. Shake Manir Uddin, the Chair of the Department of Art History at the University of Dhaka.
Samina Zaman, a talented designer currently working at the renowned company Dishal Limited, is presenting a collection of 31 artworks created using mixed media and watercolor on paper. The exhibition will be accessible to visitors from 12 pm to 7 pm daily until October 15.
