“City Bank PLC Hosts Inaugural Amex Member Week in Bangladesh”

-

City Bank PLC is set to host the inaugural “Amex Member Week” in Bangladesh from November 1 to 7, as part of its enduring collaboration with American Express, a renowned global digital payment solutions provider. The event will offer American Express cardholders a variety of benefits, deals, and exclusive promotions, as detailed in a recent press release.

The primary objective of this initiative is to appreciate cardholders and enrich their day-to-day spending encounters. Cardmembers can anticipate additional advantages across popular sectors like shopping, dining, and entertainment. All City Bank American Express credit cardholders are eligible for a 20 percent cashback on transactions at chosen merchants nationwide, encompassing shopping, electronics, dining, jewelry, beauty salons, and furniture, subject to specific terms and conditions.

This promotion will be active in all major cities, aligning with the bank’s motto: “Wherever there’s Amex, there’s more.” City Bank is also extending extra rewards to users of mobile financial services (MFS). Participants who top up their MFS wallets with Amex cards will receive bonus membership reward points and exclusive cashback perks, promoting secure and convenient digital payments.

Furthermore, during Amex Member Week, the bank will introduce a “Merchant Incentive Programme” to commend top-performing merchants in sectors such as motorbikes, electronics, and mobile phones. Through these strategies, City Bank solidifies its position in Bangladesh’s card industry, delivering top-notch payment solutions, exceptional benefits, and superior customer experiences.

Having been the exclusive licensee of the American Express brand in Bangladesh, City Bank continues to drive innovation in the country’s card sector, striving to enhance the banking journey for its clientele.
