BNP’s Secretary General, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, has expressed concerns about efforts to instigate chaos in Bangladesh. He highlighted the proliferation of false information and propaganda on social media aimed at creating an anarchic situation in the country. Fakhrul made these remarks while unveiling BNP’s 10-day action plan leading up to the National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7, following a meeting today.
Amidst the current political climate marked by uncertainty and frustration, Fakhrul emphasized the reemergence of adversaries of Bangladesh. The commemoration of the National Revolution and Solidarity Day will commence on November 5 with a discussion hosted by Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, concluding on November 13.
On the morning of November 7, the national flag will be raised at all BNP offices nationwide, and senior party leaders will pay homage to the late president and party founder Ziaur Rahman by laying wreaths and offering Fateha around 10:00 am. Additionally, BNP’s Dhaka south and north city units are scheduled to conduct a rally on the same day, commencing from the Nayapaltan central office at 3:00 pm. District and upazila units of the party will also organize rallies on November 7.
Furthermore, various activities including discussions, cultural events, photo exhibitions, distribution of educational materials to orphan students, and the release of documentaries on different media platforms are planned by BNP’s associate bodies and units nationwide. Special supplements will be published in newspapers across the country to honor the day respectfully.
As part of the scheduled events, a discussion will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre on November 12.
