Iran announced on Monday its plan to enhance and reconstruct nuclear facilities that were targeted in attacks by Israel and the United States, asserting they will be reinforced beyond their previous state. The statement comes amidst efforts by Oman, acting as a mediator, urging Tehran and Washington to resume diplomatic discussions that have been stalled.
While US President Donald Trump claimed the strikes decimated Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the true extent of the inflicted damage remains undisclosed. During a visit to the nuclear organization, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed Tehran’s determination to fortify the damaged sites, stating, “We will strengthen (the destroyed sites) beyond their previous condition.”
Pezeshkian emphasized, “Destruction of structures will not impede our progress,” as he addressed the matter on his official website.
