A 12-year-old boy named Leo Ross sadly passed away following a tragic stabbing incident in Birmingham last night. Heartbroken friends of Leo visited the scene to pay their respects and place flowers. People were also observed lighting candles near Scribers Lane in Hall Green, Birmingham.

Diane Henson, the Executive Headteacher, labeled Leo’s demise as a “tragedy,” emphasizing his lively and cheerful nature. Friends at Christ Church School, where Leo was a student, held a special assembly to honor him and offer prayers. One schoolmate fondly remembered Leo as a good-natured and hardworking individual who loved Science and treated everyone with kindness.

The community expressed shock and sorrow over the incident, with one note left at the scene conveying heartfelt messages of remembrance and justice for Leo. The police are actively investigating the stabbing near Scribers Lane in Hall Green, where Leo was airlifted to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The incident has raised concerns about anti-social behavior in The Shire Country Park, where the tragedy occurred. Parents and residents are calling for increased police presence to deter such incidents in the area. The suspect, a 14-year-old boy, has been detained by West Midlands Police for further investigation.
