The Traitors fans call out show for ‘incriminating mistake’ that could ‘ruin’ game

-

Viewers of The Traitors has one big question for show bosses after a ‘mistake’ on Wednesday night.

As fans tuned in to see who had been murdered in a face-to-face twist, they were made to wait. But from the off, fans questioned a decision by bosses and suggested a mistake had been made.

They were worried it would give away a huge twist to the players, suggesting it was wrong of the show. Traitors Linda and Minah were first to enter the main room for breakfast that morning.

Normally players enter in threes, sometimes twos, but the fact both Traitors were sent in together and first left fans confused and not impressed. Taking to X fans believed it was silly and could end up giving away who the Traitors were especially if one of the pair was to leave.

One fan said: “Why would they send the two traitors in together first, when everyone else is coming in 3s?” Another agreed: “Why would the producers send both traitors first? as a third said: “Linda and Minah arriving first!”

Linda was in fact banished at the end of the episode in the roundtable, and suspicion soon fell onto Minah. So might the breakfast clue give it all away?

It comes as one star who left the show recently had their say on someone’s game plan. Dan, 33, has appeared alongside Linda, 70, on the third series of the BBC show, which concludes next week. He was banished from Ardross Castle on last Friday’s episode after some of his co-stars suspected he may be a traitor.

Following his on-screen exit, Dan, who had been a Faithful, spoke to the Mirror this week about his experience. During the interview the bank risk manager shared his thoughts on Linda, who is currently a Traitor with Minah Shannon, 29.

Linda has been under suspicion on the show for some time, though she has so far avoided banishment at the round table. There’s been concern that she has exposed herself as a Traitor and although she’s amused fans, some viewers have suggested that she’s been “rubbish” at the game itself.

Her former co-star Dan said he think she’s “underrated” though. Asked what viewers are missing when it comes to Linda, he said: “I think her social game is being completely overshadowed because there are lots of shots of Linda going up to people like giving them a hug and consoling them when they’re having a hard moment in the castle.”
