Samsung issues 48-hour countdown to claim a free laptop – don’t miss out

-

Fancy a new laptop for free? That’s exactly what Samsung is offering right now with the Korean technology firm offering a Galaxy Chromebook Go (worth £299) when buying one of its S24 smartphones. This portable PC features an 11.6-inch display, 12-hour battery life, plenty of ports and is powered by Google’s Chrome OS which offers access to Google’s services – such as Gmail and Chrome – along with thousands of Andriod apps.

It’s a decent deal but Samsung has confirmed that it ends tomorrow, January 16 so there’s not long left if you want to take advantage. If a new laptop does sound enticing, then you’ll simply need to pop a Galaxy S24, S24 Plus or S24 Ultra in your online shopping basket. Once purchased, you then head to Samsung’s “claims” page, fill in your details and the Chromebook Go will then be sent out free of charge.

This isn’t the only incentive available right now, with Samsung also dropping the price of its S24 range. The standard Galaxy S24 is currently £729 (it was £799), and you can pick up the ultimate S24 Ultra device for £1,099 (it was £1,249).

These phones all feature clever Galaxy AI, which can translate foreign calls in real time, edit photos automatically, and check your emails—it can even help you write messages and organise your notes.

The standard S24 has a triple-lens camera, 6.2-inch screen, and Exynos processor. The more premium S24 Ultar has a Titanium design, a more powerful Qualcomm 8 Gen 3 chip, and a quad camera with impressive zoom.

The Ultra also features a built-in S Pen, which lets you scribble on the screen without using your finger.

Thanks to these deals, it’s a good time to buy an S24 but be aware that Samsung is holding one of its Unpacked events next week where it looks almost certain that a Galaxy S25 will be revealed.

That means the S24 will no longer be Samsung’s flagship device and could look a little inferior. We’ll be bringing you all the news from Unpacked, so watch this space. Things kick off from 6pm BST on Wednesday, January 22.
