A woman who calls herself a “professional girlfriend” has shared how she will purposefully try to be in the “right place at the right time” to find a rich suitor to take her shopping.
Ruby Jade, 24, lives a life of luxury – jetting off to luxury holiday destinations, enjoying meals at five-star restaurants, or hit up designer shops. She says men who want nothing more than to spoil her – and she is happy to enjoy it.
Ruby said: “I go to these events in an attempt to be in the right place at the right time. I don’t go on first dates unless shopping and a nice meal is covered, along with flowers and transport organised for me.”
Ruby, who hails from Brisbane in Australia, claims that her dates enjoy her company and conversation. Plus, she said her suitors don’t receive any physical contact beyond holding hands. Recently, she took to TikTok to share the impressive list of gifts she received during a shopping trip with a man that she met at a bar that was hosting a 50s dating event.
The suitor in his 50s apparently, spent over £400 ($800) during the first date including dinner and a shopping spree. In the clip, the influencer can be seen holding up multiple gift bags including branded ones from Sephora and Mecca. She starts the video by saying: “We need to start taking money from these men if they wanna spend time with us.”
The shopping-loving woman said: “He bought me these things simply because I told him to – it was a condition for me to go on the date and he happily agreed. I told him I never kiss on the first date and that I would not be having sex with him.
“I said we would simply enjoy a nice meal before he took me shopping. And he was more than OK with these terms.”
Ruby reveals that they went to a Thai restaurant for dinner before going shopping. Showing off what she got, Ruby reveals a lacey green lingerie set from Bras N Things – claiming that her date wanted to buy her a colour that was new to her.
The pair then visited a hair care store, where the content creator admits she “went a bit crazy” with splashing the cash. The date bought Ruby a curl activator, defining cream, sea salt spray, coloured shampoo, coloured conditioner and a mousse gel.
Elsewhere, she also got some canvases, candles and stickers, as well as plenty of make-up from Sephora and Mecca. She said: “I wanted a contour stick, I told him to buy it for me and he did.”
Ruby believes the right man should be “happy to spend hundreds on a first date”. She said: “Imagine if an everyday man had a chance with a celebrity like Kylie Jenner for example. He would pull out all stops – no cost would be too high to impress her. That is what I look for.”
This isn’t even the most expensive first date she has been on. In fact, Ruby claims some men have spent upwards of £600 ($1,200 AUD). Her most recent suitor has asked for a second date but the influencer has not yet decided if it’s worth her time.
