Claudia Winkleman’s on-sale The Traitors alpaca jumper is her most affordable knit yet

-

If you’re anything like us, you’ll be eagerly waiting to see what iconic outfit Claudia Winkleman is going to wear next on The Traitors. And luckily for us, her pieces, especially her knitwear, have been more affordable than in the past.

Her khaki turtleneck knit from last night’s episode is her most affordable knit yet and is even in the sale with all sizes still available. The Seaweed Alpaca Polo Neck is from one of Claudia’s favourite brands, Brora. The knit was originally priced at £235, which is a great price for a high-quality alpaca blend. To make it better, the price has had nearly £100 knocked off, bringing it down to £139.

Sinead, Claudia’s stylist, layered the oversized knit over a black lace maxi dress from Costarellos. Later in the episode, she paired the look with a grey wool coat from Bella Freud and a pair of Hunter boots. This is one of our favourite looks yet, as we love it when Claudia combines her country chic pieces with more gothic elements, like this lace maxi.

This cosy knit is made from Italian-spun yarn mixed with Brora’s new, heavier alpaca blend, giving it a softer, more luxurious feel. Alongside the on-trend khaki colour, the roll-neck is also available in the shade Nimbus, a gorgeous blue/grey tone perfect if you prefer wearing cool tones. The website says the jumper is true-to-size, so we suspect Claudia has sized up to create that slouchy, oversized look.

This is not the first time Claudia has worn a knit from the luxury Scottish clothing brand, even just this week sporting Brora’s Supersoft Lambswool Fair Isle Yoke Jumper, £259.

This Fairisle knit has since sold out, thanks to the Claudia effect; however, we noticed that the Black Fair Isle Knitted Wool Jumper from Nobody’s Child, priced in the sale at a very reasonable £57 (down from £105), is strikingly similar.

Although £139 is a pretty fair price for Claudia’s knit, it is still a fairly hefty price tag that not everyone is willing to pay. We found New Look’s Khaki Longline Roll Neck Jumper bears a similar resemblance and is currently down to £20 in the sale. If you like the oversized look of Claudia’s knit, H&M’s Oversized Polo Neck Jumper, £27.99, will give a similar shape.
