The presenter has worn them with everything from leggings to pleated kilts and mini skirts, proving just how versatile they are.
However, if their £1080 price tag is enough to make you pause, we’ve found the perfect affordable alternative thanks to ASOS. The Seqwl Chunky Ankle Boots in Black cost a much more affordable £32, and have a very similar look to Claudia’s designer pair.

The ASOS Chunky Ankle Boots have a classic Chelsea boot look, with a high shaft length and elasticated panels on the sides which makes them easy to get on and off. The stretch panels and pull tab also makes them easy to pull on over skinny jeans or leggings, giving you plenty of styling options.
Just like Claudia’s Bottega boots, the ASOS Chunky Ankle Boots have a rounded toe and a chunky platform sole, which features a lugged tread that gives you plenty of grip and traction – ideal for the icy winter weather. Although they’re great for the colder months, you can also wear them all year round, looking just as good with bare legs and mini dresses as they do with thick tights.
The main difference between the two boots is the material, with ASOS’ Chunky Ankle Boots being made from a faux leather, whilst the Bottega ones are made from 100% calfskin leather, which is typically more durable.

Ariat has also launched its Wexford Lug Mid Waterproof Chelsea Boot, which are slightly pricier at £170 but come in both full and half sizes from a 3 to an 8.5.
Elsewhere, Heavenly feet has some more budget-friendly faux leather options, including the Alana Ankle Boot which is currently £38.97 down from £64.95 and is available in all sizes from 3-8, with a choice of five colours and finishes. You can also get a longer knee length version, with the Zinnia pair now on sale for £62.95, down from £69.95. Both pairs feature a soft, sports-shoe inspired sole that makes them ultra comfortable to wear all day long.
