Beautiful European city loved by Molly-Mae is a ‘pleasure to visit’ with £25 flights

-

If you’re eager to book a holiday to a destination adored by celebrities and yet affordable, then one European capital should be on your list.

Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague, who is about to release a tell-all documentary about her life amid split from boxer Tommy Fury, is a huge fan of this city, describing it as ‘always a pleasure’ to visit.

She embarked on a trip to the city of Paris in late 2024, and if you’re looking to spend a long weekend there this spring, then we have good news – you can get there for less than £30.

Globally known as the ‘city of love’, Paris boasts ‘unbelievable food and culture’, according to Tripadvisor.

This February, one-way flight prices from the UK start at just £25 on Skyscanner, increasing to £28 in March – making it an ideal budget-friendly destination, reports the Express.

Paris is home to a vast array of iconic landmarks, impressive museums, stunning eateries and bars – not to mention the luxurious shopping scene.

Here you’ll discover the Louvre – one of the world’s most renowned museums located in a distinctive glass pyramid-shaped building. The Mona Lisa is exhibited here, but there’s so much more to explore, and you can even take evening tours.

There’s also the Musee d’Orsay on the left bank of the Seine, where you can view French art, sculptures and furniture dating back to 1848.

Paris is renowned for its fashion scene, attracting celebrities from around the globe.

A stroll down the Avenue des Champs-Elysees is a must-do for any fashion enthusiast, as it’s one of Paris’s most famous shopping districts.

This 1.9-km street, stretching between Place Charles de Gaulle home to the iconic Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde, boasts an array of luxury stores perfect for window-shopping and offers impressive views.

Cycling enthusiasts will recognise this as the finishing point for the Tour de France.

No visit to Paris is complete without seeing the Eiffel Tower, especially at night when it sparkles every hour on the hour for five minutes.

You don’t need to climb the tower for the best views; the Trocadero esplanade or the Champ de Mars offer beautiful viewing spots.

Food lovers should also make time to sample some of Paris’s famous dishes like steak frites, croissants, croque-monsieurs and escargots, if you’re feeling adventurous.

For a sweet treat, don’t miss out on Paris’s famous silky hot chocolate from Angelina, served with a generous dollop of cream.
