“To sign up for the Offer you will need to follow the instructions to link your Clubcard to your OVO account,” OVO Energy said. “New customers should follow this link and existing customers should complete the sign up process via their online account.”

Once you’ve linked your Clubcard, 2,500 points will be credited to your account after 60 days of your supply start date. If you are a new customer, you’ll receive the bonus after 60 days of you activating the offer, provided that you have a smart meter installed and meet the eligibility criteria. For those that don’t have a Clubcard, you’ll have to sign up to the supermarket’s loyalty scheme first. This is free and can be done by visiting the retailer’s website.

There are a few conditions to receive the £25 bonus, as listed below. It’s important to know the offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.

“If you stop meeting any of the Eligibility Criteria, for example you stop paying by Direct Debit, during the 60 days then your reward will be paused and you will have 180 days to become eligible again,” OVO Energy added. “Once you are eligible again the 60 day period will continue from where it was prior to you becoming ineligible.”
