Peter Andre makes huge family decision after welcoming child at 51

-

Peter Andre has made a big decision about expanding his family after welcoming his latest child aged 51.

The Mysterious Girl singer and wife Emily MacDonagh welcomed their third child, Arabella, in April last year. The youngster is almost two decades younger than Peter’s oldest son, Junior, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price.

Peter however has now said Arabella will be his “last kid”. The star confesses the “lack of sleep” you get with a newborn baby is a “little bit different” to when he was in his thirties.

Although he says eldest children Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, have been helping chip-in around the house, with Junior often helping with the school runs. Peter says 11-year-old daughter Millie is “ultimate” when it comes to caring for Arabella, walking around the house with the tot and playing with her.

And while Peter says he has enjoyed being a father, he’s done with babies. Speaking to Bella, he said: “It has been an amazing experience, but I think what’s happened this time around is that I’ve realised this is our last time.

“I’ve never had a limit before – it was always that I’d love to have five or six kids, but I now know this is it. At 51, the lack of sleep feels a little different than at 31.”

Peter and Emily share Millie, eight-year-old Theo, and Arabella together. While both Junior and Princess are from the singer’s first marriage.

The couple will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary this year after tying the knot at Mamhead House in Devon in 2015. Although their anniversary plans might have to be delayed thanks to Peter’s busy 2025.

This year will see him heading on tour with The Best of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, appearing in a film, making more music, and even starring in a 10-part murder mystery series. Although, he insisted he was sworn to secrecy about the show.

Peter however hopes the couple will be able to mark the anniversary by heading to Santorini, a small Greek island, where they had their honeymoon. And while he admits it should be a chance to spend some time alone, he says they are likely to take their entire brood.

He explains the couple like to “do everything as a family”. And while 2025 might be “too crazy” to fit in a big celebration, he would like to “find something” to celebrate their 10-year marriage.

Now into his fifties, Peter has learnt a lot over the years, he says. He thinks he is a “better person” than he was when he was in his twenties.

He feels as though he was a “bit arrogant” when he was younger. Although having children was the “start of the journey of me getting better” he admits.
