Alison Hammond wears £46 Next polka dot blouse that looks beautiful on all body shapes

Alison Hammond delighted fans with her return to This Morning as she partnered with Dermot O’Leary to host the ITV programme on Friday. After sharing her outfit for the show on social media, fans couldn’t help but praise her outfit – and many were asking where she got it from.

Donning a polka dot tie-neck blouse and a black faux-leather skirt, Alison styled her brunette locks in curls and matched the outfit with gold tone earrings and bangles. She posted a short video on Instagram showing off her dance moves with Strictly Come Dancing’s Kai Widdrington.

One fan asked: “Love your outfit, Alison. Where is it from?” A second echoed: “You look amazing Alison, love your outfit too.” Turns out, Alison’s monochrome outfit is from Next – she was wearing the Ecru Spot Tie Neck Drape Blouse, £46, and Black Faux Leather PU Column Skirt, £36.

The gorgeous blouse is made from a lightweight fabric with tie neck detailing that be left down for a casual look or tied into a bow for a smarter appearance. With sleeves that can be rolled up or buttoned down, it comes in a huge range of sizes from a UK6 to UK26.

Not keen on the bold print? This New Look Off White Crinkled Chiffon Pussybow Blouse, £18, also features playful polka dots but the pattern is smaller than Next’s. The chiffon material is even lighter, so you might need a white camisole to wear underneath.

A faux leather skirt is a winter wardrobe staple and Alison’s Next offering boasts a flattering column fit with a chic back split to ensure comfortable manoeuvre. It goes well with a tucked-in blouse, as well as a cropped cardigan or a chunky knitwear. Available in petite or regular lengths, the sizes go up to a UK26.

One shopper shared her feedback: “This is really nice but very long. I am 5ft 8in and it is nearly at my ankles. Good for me as I love long skirts. I did orginally order the skirt in tall and that was trailing on the floor.”

Another, however, was not too sure about the skirt, writing: “The skirt fits and looks amazing. But people hear me coming before they see me. It makes a real plastic sound when walking. I’ve tried wearing no tights, with tights. I’ve even tried wearing a long petticoat. Maybe in future but leather.”

M&S Leather Look Midi A-Line Skirt, £35, offers a shorter length if you don’t want to risk grazing the skirt hem and you can choose between petite, regular and tall in length.
