World’s ‘most modified’ couple have forked tongues, chopped off fingers and metal teeth

-

A tattoo and piercing fanatic who has been dubbed the “most modified man in the world” has fallen in love – and his partner shares his passion for body art.

Marcelo “B-Boy” De Souza Ribeiro is known for his eccentric inkings and invasive body modifications which include fanged metal teeth, skin implants and a split tongue. He hit headlines in the past for revealing he has spent about £30,000 on his transformation as he wanted to resemble an “alien devil”.

He believes that 98 per cent of his body has been altered, including the removal of his index finger, as well as excess skin and muscle, as well as splitting his hand in half. Now the 41-year-old has debuted his new girlfriend who he claims is “the one”.

Tattoo artist Marcelo said: “Her name is Deby, she is 33 and we have been together for a year now. We met around four years ago at a tattoo event.

“She has tattoos on about 60 per cent of her body, a forked tongue and implants on her forehead. And she even performs body suspensions.”

Deby, who is also a tattoo artist, and Marcelo, who has over 1,500 tattoos, hit it off at the event but initially decided to stay as friends. Last year, the connection proved to be too strong and the two started a romantic relationship together.

Marcelo, who is from São Paulo in Brazil, said: “We’ve been together for some time now. And it’s my first relationship with someone who also has modifications.

“We get along very well and people always say they admire us whenever we are together. They say we make a perfect couple.” He also claims that they even get admired in public.

He said: “People on social media always adore us. And on the streets, in the metro, everywhere we are. People always come over with a smile on their face and talk to us.”

Marcelo has previously spoken about the reactions he gets from people about his controversial look. He added: “I’m happy with what I’ve done and my family won’t stop me because they know I work on my body and look.

“I always get attention wherever I go and people are always curious to know if the [modifications] are real. They take photos and make videos of me. People are usually delighted and surprised to see so many tattoos.

“They are impressed with the [look] and I don’t regret it at all. I don’t even miss my index finger and all my modifications already seem so natural. It feels like I was born this way.”
