Farzana Ridy Sheikh was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, into a Bangladeshi family. The internationally-acclaimed dancer, choreographer and model has been participating in cultural performances and activities throughout Russia and Europe, but really made headlines in the country when she joined the popular Indian dance show Dance Plus 3. Ridy is trained in different dance styles: Hip-hop, jazz-funk, waacking, Bangla and Indian folk dances, semi-classical fusions based on bharatnatyam and kathak and many others. A small stall in the terrace was occupied by art shop Numinous which offered a tasteful selection of artsy posters, cards, bookmarks and paintings.
