The funeral service for the esteemed scientist and Bangla Academy Award-winning author, Rezaur Rahman, is scheduled for today. According to family sources, the first janaza prayer will take place after the Zohr prayers at Taqwa Mosque in Dhanmondi 12/A, followed by a second prayer after the Asr prayers at Jame Mosque on Salimullah Road in Mohammadpur. Subsequently, he will be interred in his father Fazlur Rahman’s grave at the Mosque Complex Graveyard.
Rezaur Rahman, who passed away on October 26 at the age of 81 due to a heart attack, had his body housed at the mortuary of LabAid Hospital in Dhaka before the funeral arrangements.
