This Morning’s money-making expert Dan Hatfield made a return to the ITV show on Wednesday but found himself stopping the show to ask producers if he could visit one particular viewer’s home.

The TV star stopped by This Morning to value a guest’s impressive stuffed-toy collection, however it was viewer Kelly who caught Dan’s attention with her own haul of different teddy bears.

Jumping in while hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley read out tweets from viewers, Dan said: “I would love it if we could arrange for me to go out and see this viewer and do a ‘Trash or Treasure’ with them because that is an amazing collection,” he said, looking at Kelly’s collection of Care Bears, Gummy Bears, Glo Friends and other toys.

Ben added: “When we showed Dan that picture, his eyes lit up. We would love Kelly, to be able to come and actually examine what you’ve got.”

At the end of the segment, Cat put her hand to her earpiece to ask producers whether Dan could visit viewer Kelly. She said: “Can we send Dan? People in our ear? They’re looking into it.”

Dan has appeared on This Morning a number of times to value caller’s items for his Trash or Treasure segment – with the expert making one viewer an incredible offer on the show last year. ” Examining one viewers treasures, Dan said: “What is it worth? … because we’ve got an awful lot here. I wouldn’t like to nail my colours to the mat because there’s so much.

He added: “What I’d love to do, if we could, is to come and visit you so that we can do this in person?”

Last week, hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond took over for their regular Friday show on This Morning – but were left in a state of shock when guest Martin Clunes opened up about the deaths on his farm. The actor was discussing new thriller Out There when he gave an update on his Dorset farm.

He revealed: “Lambs are nice, they’re fun and they play. But then they grow into sheep and they’re charmless. And they die for a pass time. Anything going!”

He continued with an anecdote, saying: “I had a ram once who just lent up against the fence, like that and went, ‘I’m going to die now.’ And that’s where he was, that’s where I found him. Leant up against the fence dead. Idiot!”
