The waiting game


With the lockdown nearing an end and some sectors opening up in a limited manner, many have returned to the capital and other commercial cities to resume work. As the world celebrates May Day in silence, some labourers are seen working and some sift through garbage or collect them. Some rickshaw pullers wait for food while some unemployed wait for relief. People are now fearing death by starvation over death by Covid-19. To keep themselves and their families alive, all are willing to risk contracting the virus and work.
