“Spring of Love: Special Programs on Pahela Phalgun”

On the first day of spring, Pahela Phalgun and International Valentine’s Day are being celebrated by three major television channels with special programming dedicated to the season of love and colors.

Maasranga Television kicks off the day at 7 am with the popular morning show “Ranga Shokal,” featuring the story of Jacob Berlin and Joya Berlin, an American couple residing in Bangladesh. The couple will share their journey of identity, friendship, love, marriage, and experiences in the country.

Following this, at 9 am, the romantic film “Bhalobasha Express” starring Shakib Khan and Apu Biswas will be aired. The evening lineup includes the romantic drama “Brishtir Ghran” at 8 pm, directed by Tarek Rahman and starring Prantar Dastidar and Bonne Hassan. Actress Shobnom Bubly will make a guest appearance on “Behind the Fame with RRK” at 9 pm.

Bangladesh Television (BTV) has also prepared a vibrant schedule to celebrate the arrival of spring and the essence of romance. Musical programs are at the core of their lineup for the day.

At 12:45 pm, a musical show produced by Ershad Hossain will be broadcast. At 5 pm, a program hosted by Hasan Chowdhury and produced by Mahbuba Jemin will showcase performances by Rajib, Piyal Hasan, Champa Banik, Putul, Mohammad Rashed, Smaran, and Hasan Chowdhury.

Viewers can enjoy a special drama titled “Boshonto Eshe Gechhe” at 9 pm, written by Rezaur Rahman Ijaz and produced by Monirul Hasan. The drama features Dolly Zahur, Azam Khan, Salman Arafat, Naushin Nahar, Sheikh Swapna, Shafiqul Alam Babu, and Shiuli Shila.

Continuing the festivities, at 10 pm, there will be a musical program “Bhalobashi Tai Bhalobese Jai” produced by Afroza Sultana and presented by Adhora Jahan. The program will feature performances by Alam Ara Minu, Rumana Islam, Anannya Acharya, Khaled Munna, Piyal Hasan, Ankhi Alamgir, Rafti Raya, Tanvir Alam, Chandramoni, Poran, and Labannya.

For younger viewers, Duronto TV has organized a special dance program titled “Boshonto Batashe.” Child performers will dance to songs by Baul legend Shah Abdul Karim in a colorful tribute to spring. Directed by Partha Pratim Haldar, the program will air at 8 am and 6 pm.

With love in the air and spring blossoming, the three channels promise a day filled with music, drama, and celebration for audiences of all ages.
