Renowned Bangladeshi actor, director, and producer Masud Parvez, widely recognized by his screen alias Sohel Rana, is embarking on a fresh venture. This time, the seasoned silver-screen personality is trading his camera for a microphone with the launch of his new weekly podcast titled “Ami Sohel Rana,” debuting today on the Eyes On Studio YouTube channel every Friday at 10 pm.
The podcast series stems from the positive feedback Rana received following his participation in Eyes On Studio’s special Eid programming earlier this year. Encouraged by viewers’ requests for more content, the actor and producers have responded by introducing a 12-episode inaugural season. In this season, Rana will share candid insights into his film career, collaborations, and the anecdotes behind some of his most iconic roles.
Reflecting on the overwhelming response to the Eid program, Rana expressed gratitude, stating, “The feedback from the Eid event was exceptional. Many expressed a desire for more content. Hence, I am back—now with the platform to narrate my complete story. These words from my life will endure long after I am gone.”
