Today, the music world remembers the seventh anniversary of the passing of rock legend Ayub Bachchu in 2018. Fans mourned his loss then, and his impactful songs and memories remain deeply ingrained in the hearts of many.
To honor this day, a memorial event, milad, and doa mahfil will be held this evening at Celebration Community Point in Moghbazar, Dhaka. The collaborative effort of Chattogram Musicians Club, Dhaka; the Ayub Bachchu Foundation, and Bandhumahal brings together admirers to pay tribute.
Abdullah Al Masud, the General Secretary of the Ayub Bachchu Foundation, mentioned that prayer gatherings have been ongoing in mosques since October 17. The series of events will culminate on October 20 in Chattogram, where local musicians will join to honor the late maestro.
Anjan Dutt, a well-known musician, actor, and filmmaker from West Bengal, shared his cherished memories of Ayub Bachchu, highlighting him as one of the most exceptional guitarists in history.
