Renowned filmmaker Shihab Shaheen is making a return to the world of online streaming services following the success of his recent movie. His upcoming romantic film, titled “Tomar Jonno Mon” (For You, My Heart), is set to premiere on November 6 on the Chorki platform.
The film’s motion poster and trailer have already been unveiled, showcasing the much-talked-about on-screen duo, Yash Rohan and Tanjim Saiyara Totini. Shaheen expressed that the narrative he envisioned demanded actors who could establish a profound connection both in front of and behind the camera.
In his pursuit of this chemistry, Shihab Shaheen handpicked Yash and Totini for the lead roles in “Tomar Jonno Mon,” which delves into the love story of two young individuals navigating life in a small town. Describing it as a heartwarming romantic tale, Shaheen revealed that he personally chose the storyline this time, emphasizing his collaboration with Chorki.
Offering a glimpse into the film’s underlying message, Shaheen hinted at the incorporation of well-known adages like ‘A tree is known by its fruit’ and ‘Be born where you may, do good deeds’ to convey profound philosophies. He explained that the movie explores how individuals are ultimately defined by their actions, despite the prominence of their names or reputations.
Apart from Yash and Totini, “Tomar Jonno Mon” also features Samu Chowdhury, Sabiha Zaman, and Salahuddin Lavlu in special appearances. Shaheen not only directed the film but also penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The musical score of the movie is crafted by Emon Chowdhury, with Khayam Sanu Sandhi taking charge of the background score.
