RedOrange Communications has been honored with the Power of Family Planning Award 2025 at the recently concluded International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) in Bogotá as per a press release issued today. The award acknowledges organizations that showcase how reproductive health initiatives can create a positive impact across various sectors. This year, eleven initiatives globally were recognized, with RedOrange being the sole awardee from Bangladesh.
The Dutch–Bangladeshi communication and social innovation firm was presented with the award for its innovative behavior change model aimed at addressing deep-rooted social issues like child marriage and gender-based violence. RedOrange’s strategy leverages social and behavior change communication (SBCC) frameworks to connect reproductive health with wider goals in education, gender equality, and community development.
Arnob Chakrabarty, the managing director of RedOrange, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We are truly honored to receive this award at ICFP 2025. This acknowledgment illustrates how communication, when harnessed collectively, can bring about life-changing outcomes.”
The “Power of Family Planning Award” spotlights organizations spearheading initiatives that blend health, equity, and social transformation, emphasizing how family planning can contribute to overarching development objectives. RedOrange affirmed its commitment to leveraging behavioral science, storytelling, and design to tackle intricate development issues in Bangladesh and on a global scale.
