OPPO may introduce an ‘upgraded’ version for OPPO A9

OPPO may introduce an upgraded version for the popular OPPO A9 that was launched in the first quarter of 2019. The new OPPO A9 may termed as ‘2020’ version and it may come with a heavy-duty gaming compatible mobile platform, quad cameras, upgraded RAM and battery with enough backup capability that complements the hard-core gamers. This ‘2020’ version may hit the market by the mid of September 2019 in the Bangladeshi market.

Global smartphone brand OPPO introduced the A9 earlier this year and now it is rumoured that the company may introduce an upgraded version of this smartphone. It has been indicated that instead of launching a new model, OPPO is up for introducing an upgraded smartphone for the popular OPPO A9 smartphone. The new successor of OPPO A9 may come with a gaming compatible mobile platform. There is good news for smartphone photographers as well.

The successor to A9 is going to house quad cameras as a primary camera instead of a twin camera for its predecessor. The new OPPO A9 may come with an 8GB RAM to complement the gaming compatibility. The internal memory may remain the same as that of the previous one which comes with 128GB internal memory. Power backup is the biggest concern for any smartphone. Since the sources are claiming it to be gaming one, this phone may come with a 5000mAh battery. The phone may come with ColorOS 6.1 which indicates that this phone will be based on Android Pie. Some of the leaks claim that the upgraded A9 will come with a 6.5-inch display.

Regarding this potential upgrade, Marketing and Public Relations Manager of OPPO Bangladesh Iftekhar Uddin Sunny did not rule out the possibilities for an upgraded OPPO A9 and says, “OPPO A9 has been a very popular smartphone among the customers around the world. To complement this affection from the fans, it may not be a surprising event that we may introduce an upgraded version for OPPO A9.”

OPPO Bangladesh is all set to introduce its upcoming smartphone by the mid of September 2019.
