Bangladesh Cricket Board recently asked him to reconsider his decision but Mushfiq is still adamant about not travelling to Pakistan, despite the fact that the first two phases of the tour went smoothly

Mushfiqur Rahim said he will not change his stance regarding visiting Pakistan for Bangladesh’s final phase of the three-leg tour, comprising the lone ODI and the second and final Test match.

Bangladesh Cricket Board recently asked him to reconsider his decision but Mushfiq is still adamant about not travelling to Pakistan, despite the fact that the first two phases of the tour went smoothly.

The one-off ODI will be held on April 3 this year, while the second Test begins two days later.

Both the matches will take place in Karachi.

Mushfiq had earlier sat out the first two phases, containing three T20Is and the first Test, in January and February due to security concerns.

All the games were held in Rawalpindi.

“I clearly stated my stance regarding travelling or not travelling to Pakistan and they [BCB] accepted it. There was an offer from PSL (Pakistan Super League Twenty20) and I was asked whether I wanted to give my name or not, but I did not give my name for the competition,” Mushfiq was quoted as saying to NTV Thursday.

“They [board] should have respected my decision, because I did not put my name, despite knowing the current situation. So it is pretty clear [that I will not go] and it will not change in future. I have all the good wishes for them whoever travels there,” he said.
