Love Island’s Olivia exposes ‘cheat’ Ronnie’s secret messages while ‘in a relationship’

-

One Love Island star appeared to accuse another of cheating in the awkward first episode of the new series.

Olivia Hawkins and Ronnie Vint made it pretty clear they shared a secret history within moments of laying eyes on each other on Monday night. Soon all became clear, and Olivia made a shocking claim about her fellow Islander about how they knew each other away from the series.

Love Island All Stars 2025 kicked off its launch on Monday night, with host Maya Jama. Olivia and Ronnie were two of the returning Islanders hitting the villa for a second chance of love.

But despite not being on the same series, it was clear both stars knew of each other and soon Olivia explained all. She appeared to suggest Ronnie had sent her secret messages online, while he was still dating co-star Harriett Blackmore.

Ronnie and Harriett confirmed their split late last year, weeks on from their villa stint. But it seems before their break-up, Ronnie had slid into the DMs of Olivia.

Sharing this secret history between them, Olivia wasted no time in bringing it up on Monday night. She even said Ronnie and Harriett were still together when this happened, and Ronnie defended this by suggesting they were not exclusive.

After Olivia had claimed Ronnie had been sliding into her DMs, things got awkward when it came up during a challenge. Olivia said: “You did message me when you were with another girl,” to which Ronnie replied: “Seeing a girl and being in a relationship with her are two different things… I weren’t in a relationship with the girl.”

Joining Olivia and Ronnie in the villa are Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed and Marcel Somerville. Joining them are Scott Thomas, Catherine Agbaje, Luca Bish, India Reynolds, and Elma Pazar with bombshells yet to be announced.

It comes as returning Islander Olivia shared her thoughts on being labelled as a series villain after her last stint. Speaking about her plan for the new series, she told The Mirror and other press: “I’m just going in as me, I’m going to be confident and bubbly as I always am. Hopefully I’ll make some friends and some good memories. I’m not going in with any preconceived ideas.

“I don’t have any regrets from the first time; I don’t live with any regrets. Everything I do is how I feel in the moment, that’s just how it went. I was there for eight weeks and met amazing people. I can’t believe I’m getting to do it all over again; it’s quite amazing really.”

Olivia also slammed claims she was ever a ‘villain’ on the show and branded the label “tiring”. “I’m a confident girl but I don’t go into things thinking I want to cause drama or want to be a controversial person. I just am a confident girl and if situations arise in there, I just face them how I face them,” she explained.

“Was I ever a villain? I think it’s tiring – that label – I’m just me. Some people will like me and some people won’t. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, especially with reality television and no one really gets to know you as a person so obviously it’s hard.”

Love Island All Stars 2025 airs weeknights and Sundays at 9PM on ITV2 and ITV X, with Unseen Bits every Saturday at the same time.* Follow Mirror Celebs and TV onTikTok,Snapchat,Instagram,Twitter,Facebook,YouTubeandThreads.
