Luca Bish admits he’s concerned about being coupled up with Olivia Hawkins in tonight’s Love Island: All Stars after making a bombshell revelation.
The former fishmonger, 25, is looking for love on the show again after coming second on Love Island in 2022 with ex, Gemma Owen. He’s now coupled up with Olivia Hawkins, 29, who rocked up in the villa in 2023. However, in news no-one saw coming, he admits one of his mates was messaging the former ring girl from Brighton before All Stars kicked off.
Speaking to Kaz Crossley, he admits: “It’s hard to ignore it” as he ponders his next move. Of course, Kaz then inadvertently puts her foot in it when she mentions the awkwardness to Olivia, who is upset that Luca would share his doubts about their relationship without speaking to her first. Insisting she doesn’t want to talk to her partner, she tells the Islander: “I don’t want to talk to him – weird – why tell someone else before me?”.
Viewers picked up on possible tension between Olivia and Luca when they were paired together on Monday following the public vote. Taking to social media, sharing a screenshot of the stunned looking couple, one fan wrote: “Had hopes for Liv and Luca but it looks like they hate each other! What’s the tea?”
However responding to the question on Instagram, Luca’s sister, who is running his account while he’s in the villa, said it was just down to ‘nerves’, insisting: “He was just nervous and his brain was probably racing, which translated to a face like a slapped a**e x.”
But then suggesting the pair may be better off as pals – and possibly alluding to Olivia’s text exchange with Luca’s pal – she countered: “I’m friends with Liv and she’s genuinely lovely but maybe it’s a bit close to home. We’ll see.”
Elsewhere in the show, the garden games are back – and what better way to kick things off than some dares? Curtis is up first and is dared to ‘lick the Islander from bottom to top who he thinks is the full package’…will he choose to have a taste of his new partner Ekin-Su or does he have someone else in mind?
Meanwhile, Scott is dared to ‘kiss three Islanders and rate them’, exclaiming: “I bet my brothers are watching creasing!” as he goes in for his third snog. All the girls are rated very highly but one sexy singleton takes the top spot easily. We can’t wait to find out who!
