ArchFest held at the Dept. of Architecture, North South University to Celebrates 15 year anniversary

15 years ago, the Department of Architecture, North South University began its journey. With 438 students currently enrolled, the program is one of the leading architecture programs in the country.

The Archfest was inaugurated today with a series of programs which will be held under the theme of ‘People Space Habitat: the Relevance of Design’. These include a design competition for students of architecture, a poster competition titled My City 2050 for students of schools and colleges, exhibition of students work, photography exhibition, lectures by Aga Khan Award Laureates SaifUlHaq, Marina Tabassum and eminent architect Dr. LokeMunTan from Malaysia. 

The program was inaugurated by Eminent architect and freedom fighter Mubasshar Hossain, Chairman Board of Trustees NSU, Mr. Benajir Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor NSU Prof. Atiqul Islam and Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. M Ismail Hossain. Eminent architects and artists also joined the occasion.

The exhibition runs till 5th March and is open for all.
