Hidden sign Tasha Ghouri had ‘outgrown’ Andrew Le Page during Strictly stint – expert

Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page‘s split might have been a huge shock to fans, but it comes as no surprise to a body language expert.

The Love Island couple have reportedly called time on their nearly three-year relationship after meeting on the ITV dating show in 2022. The pair, who shared a dog, house and matching tattoos, appeared to be loved up in the spotlight and spoke about their plans to one day marry. But now, they have gone their separate ways.

Tasha, who competed in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing with professional partner Aljaž Å korjanec, is now preparing for the UK tour as a ‘single woman’. Analysing the model’s body language at the beginning, during and after the ITV dance show, communications expert Judi James said she has noticed changes.

Judi told The Mirror that Tasha was “always a confident reality star but Strictly seems to have given her a showcase for the stronger, more resilient and determined traits that lurked behind the scenes”. During her time on Love Island, Judi said she showed “depth and steel” behind her ‘girl-next-door’ persona, and this extended to her social media afterwards.

In 2022, Tasha took to Instagram to share a more daring photoshoot, in sheer tights and a black blazer, which was slightly different from her usual wholesome vibe, captioning it: “Barbie gone bad”. “She was gently shocking her fans with what she called her ‘Bad Barbie’ photoshoot, clearly enjoying the more sultry poses and showing the first glimpse of the more sensual, sassy side,” Judi said.

This side of Tasha came out on the Strictly dancefloor, Judi noted, as her confidence levels grew with her ability to perform. “Her confidence levels and even her resilience grew on Strictly and she learned to overcome the ego blows and continue to put in perfect score performances. She appeared to take a very professional attitude,” the body language expert explained.

“Her body language made her dance partnership look like one of equals, and she used the plural when she spoke about their weeks, showing a growing sense of power that she maybe didn’t get on Love Island,” Judi said. “We saw her body language confidence with people other than Andrew too, as she showed her confidence and protective nature in photos with her new ‘bestie’ Pete Wicks.”

As for her photographs with Andrew, Tasha “always came across as the stronger personality with the star quality”, Judi noted, and described her signature body language with him as ‘political wife’ in tone. She said: “Many of their shots together show Andrew smiling calmly and almost passively while Tasha used to work the poses to make him look like the desirable legend rather than herself.

“She would kiss him on the cheek or gaze lovingly at his face, or press her head against his and throw her eyes to the camera with a seductive smile to show the world how happy she was with her sexy ‘alpha’ man.”

But despite communicating her love and commitment for him both in interviews and photoshoots, Tasha was destined to become a single woman, Judi explained. “They made a very sweet and congruent-looking media couple but Tasha’s solo fame and success on Strictly did make it look as though she would outgrow Andrew in terms of fame, status and power,” she said.

Tasha and Andrew are said to have quietly split earlier this month and Tasha has since reportedly set up a dating app profile on Raya. A source told The Sun: “Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly. She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.”
