The government has fixed office hours for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan from 9am to 3:30pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous, semi-autonomous institutions.
The decision was taken at a regular cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at Ganabhaban on Monday, says a press release.
The holy month of Ramadan is likely to begin on April 24 or April 25 based on moon sighting. Currently, the office timing is from 9am to 5pm.
