England is bracing for more bone-chilling winter weather as it refuses to let up.

For many, it’s all about staying snug indoors, buried under blankets and slipping into our comfiest jammies. But let’s be honest, nothing tops a steaming mug of hot chocolate and freshly-baked cookies on a frosty evening.

Gordon Ramsay’s cookbook “Ramsay in 10” features two recipes that are perfect for heating things up without slaving away in the kitchen. Sure, they’re not the pinnacle of health, but we all deserve a sweet treat now and then.

“You don’t have to make the hot chocolate, but I wouldn’t want you twiddling your thumbs while the cookies are in the oven,” said the celeb chef. The olive oil, milk chocolate, and Horlicks make the drink wonderfully rich, but a cup of tea would be very nice too.”
