Director Mehedi Hassan Hridoy, who gained fame with the release of the movie “Borbaad” starring Shakib Khan last Eid, has started filming his next project named “Biday”. While keeping his upcoming venture under wraps for a while, filming has officially kicked off in Taherpur, Sunamganj.
Initially, speculations hinted at Shakib Khan starring in Mehedi Hassan’s next film. However, it was later revealed that Siam Ahmed would take on the lead role. Producer Shahrin Akter has now confirmed that the sequel to “Borbaad” with Siam has been postponed, and the current focus is on “Biday” featuring Bapparaj, Prarthana Fardin Dighi, and other stars.
The movie marks the debut collaboration between veteran actor Bapparaj and young actress Dighi. Filming commenced last Friday in various locations in Sunamganj, with Bapparaj joining the set on Monday to shoot his scenes as a chairman, marking his comeback to the big screen after a prolonged hiatus.
Bapparaj mentioned that the production team has requested the cast to refrain from revealing specifics about the project at this stage. He expressed his readiness to share more insights once the filming wraps up by the end of the month.
With Mehedi Hassan directing and the unique pairing of Bapparaj and Dighi, “Biday” is generating significant buzz as one of the highly anticipated Bangladeshi films of the upcoming year.
