The women’s travel organizaiton celebrates its annual event with its community
Wander Woman, a travel community for and by women, is a platform that provides guidance and information regarding travel opportunities. The community also assists women from all walks of life to design their travel plans and convert their vision into action. All these facilities are tailored for female travellers across Bangladesh and also for the Bangladeshi travel enthusiasts residing abroad.
Wander Woman hosted its annual day-long event title ‘Escapade’ recently for 150 girls and women. The event was sponsored by SMC-Joya Sanitary Napkin. The hospitality partner NeoCampers arranged a day full of engaging activities such as zip lining, carpentry, pottery, kayaking and many other team building tasks.
Décor partner DIY-ish BD decorated the venue. Apart from the delicious food, snacks and goody bags, the event also had to offer nourishment for the soul. A session on self-esteem and mental health awareness was conducted by M2H – Mission to Health where girls and women talked about the struggles of their day to day lives as a woman. The participants also performed interactive exercises in groups. To empower individuals, Eliza Binte Elahi, who is known for travelling to all the 64 districts of Bangladesh, graced the event to share about her journey across the globe.
The day-long event concluded with gift hampers from Hotel Tropical Daisy, Greentech Resort & Convention Centre and Dhaka Resort. NeoCampers selected the best team, best team leader and best performer among the competitive participants who were ecstatic to win free night stay for two at the aforementioned resorts. Top attraction included a night at DuSai Resort & Spa for the winner who shared the most updates on social media platforms with the hashtag #WWEscapade2019. One of the buggest prizes included Dhaka-Thailand-Dhaka round ticket sponsored by Choroghuri.com for the person who will share the best review of her Wander Woman Escapade 2019 experience. The contest is open till December 25.
Gift vouchers by The Red Window, WeddingBerries, The Paper Boutique, FoodPanda, Yue Kee Central, BeatStar Dance Studio and Scenabella were provided to all the participants in the goody bags along with a travel user kit by M2H.
