Actor Jacqueline Jossa has broken her silence on Instagram amid rumours of her split from husband Dan Osborne.
The EastEnders star, 32, was said to be “shocked and upset” by rumours that she had ended her eight-year marriage to former the Only Way is Essex star Dan, 33, fuelled by reports of the soap star placing her £1.6m Essex home up for sale and Dan buying a property in his name. A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Jacqueline and Dan are both shocked, hurt and upset about the rumours of a split. Yes, it’s true they are selling their house, but that doesn’t mean they’re not together.”
Now, Jacqueline has taken to social media to post as usual despite the split speculation, sharing her Sunday morning routine on Instagram. Alongside a photo that showed some products, she wrote: “My new routine for the mornings … well I’ve taken revive for ages now … but I’ve added the willpowder products.”
Jacqueline – who plays Lauren Branning on the BBC soap – then shared a series of videos in which she discussed having “lost a little bit of weight” recently. She said that going to gym has been among the lifestyle changes she’s made.
She said: “So people ask me all the time, recently, how I lost a little bit of weight. And there wasn’t like a set thing I did – so I didn’t like join a plan or … I mean, there is something really obvious that I did, which was start going to the gym. That was a massive thing for me. Because I do think once you start going to the gym, you start wanting to eat healthier, right?”
The former I’m A Celebrity campmate continued in one of the videos posted on Sunday: “But also, it’s the little things. It’s really, really small changes that make a massive difference that when you get in a routine of it, it just becomes part of your day. But also, you realise what was part of your day.”
She went on to share an example with her followers. Jacqueline suggested that she had realised it after making breakfast for her two children and some of their friends that morning. She said: “I would have used to eaten the leftovers.”
The actor continued: “I would have probably just like cleared the plates without even thinking that that’s a meal.” She later added: “If you are calorie-counting, in your head, you don’t even think about [those bits of food adding to it].”
Alongside no longer doing that and now going to the gym, Jacqueline said that she has also changed her diet. She however said it has “not been an overnight success” and that she started taking it “a lot more seriously” after seeing herself on TV at one point. She said: “There ain’t no quick fix.”
