All kind of tournaments organised by BFF including the Women’s Football League and Independent Cup are also suspended for an indefinite period.
“The postponement is applied to all kinds of tournaments organized by BFF including the Independence Cup.” Murshedy, also BFF senior vice president, replied to a different query. “When the situation gets better, we will call a meeting before deciding the new schedules,” he added.
Earlier on March 16, following the direction from the Ministry of Youth and Sports on the same day to shut down all kinds of sports activity in the country, the BFF suspended the premier league until March 31.
