Season 13 of the popular anthology series “American Horror Story” on FX is gearing up to be a significant event. Singer and actress Ariana Grande has officially signed on to the cast, reuniting with creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Grande previously collaborated with them on the horror-comedy show “Scream Queens” almost a decade ago.
The upcoming season will see the return of several well-loved regulars from AHS, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Leslie Grossman. The news was shared on the Ryan Murphy Productions Instagram page through a brief video displaying the cast members’ names in the unique font of the show.
Fans are particularly thrilled about Jessica Lange’s comeback as she has been absent from “American Horror Story” since Season 8 (Apocalypse) in 2018. Bassett, Bates, and Sidibe are also making a return after extended breaks, while Peters and Paulson were last seen in Season 10 (Double Feature) in 2021.
The previous season, titled Delicate, aired from September 2023 to April 2024 and featured a star-studded cast including Roberts, Lourd, Grossman, Kim Kardashian, Matt Czuchry, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, and Cara Delevingne. “American Horror Story” is created by 20th Television and remains one of FX’s most well-received series.
