In an earlier Facebook post on Saturday evening (14 February), Brishty announced her ailment without divulging specific details. The post featured her seated on a hospital bed, her visage and head adorned with a bouquet. She expressed gratitude for Valentine’s Day flowers from her family and requested prayers from well-wishers. She also mentioned her upcoming head surgery on the following day (15 February).
Meanwhile, Rashed Mamun Apu disclosed that Brishty’s brain tumor surgery is underway at a private hospital in the capital.
A statement has been issued on Brishty’s behalf from the hospital, considering her delicate health condition. It urges refraining from contacting her regarding shooting schedules or work commitments during her illness. The statement emphasizes her need for rest and medical attention, reassuring that she will personally reconnect with everyone post-recovery.
