Abul Kasem Khan Named Chairperson of BUILD 2026-2027

Abul Kasem Khan has been selected as the new chairperson of Business Initiative Leading Development (BUILD) for the term spanning 2026-2027. The decision was finalized during the 39th trustee board meeting of the organization, as per an official statement released. Having been a member of the BUILD Trustee Board since 2020, Khan’s appointment to this key position was endorsed through a formal resolution by the Board in compliance with the BUILD Deed of Trust. He was nominated by the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and currently holds positions as the vice-chairman of AK Khan & Company Ltd and the managing director of AK Khan Telecom Limited. Notably, Khan has previously served as the president of the DCCI during multiple terms, specifically in 2010, 2017, and 2018.
