This project is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the popular 1960s animated series featuring the Jetson family living in a futuristic world with advanced technology.
“The Jetsons,” which first aired in 1962, revolves around George and Jane Jetson, their children Judy and Elroy, and their robotic dog Astro. Set in Orbit City, the show depicted a technologically advanced society with flying cars, robot maids, and video calls, envisioning future innovations that have since become reality.
Despite previous attempts at live-action adaptations, such as a 2003 version by Adam Shankman and a 2007 CGI adaptation by Robert Rodriguez, no project has materialized beyond the development stage since the release of the animated film “Jetsons: The Movie” in 1990.
