President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of causing disorder by launching new strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Meanwhile, increased drone attacks have prompted Kyiv to initiate additional evacuations of children from villages near the frontlines. Moscow, the invader of Ukraine in 2022, has intensified aerial assaults on Ukrainian energy installations and railway networks in recent weeks. Zelensky informed reporters that Russia’s objective is to instigate chaos and exert psychological pressure on the populace through attacks on energy facilities and railways. He also mentioned that he would be sending his prime minister and a top sanctions advisor to the United States for discussions early next week concerning air defense, energy, sanctions, negotiations with Russia, and the issue of frozen Russian assets.
