“US Military Team to Supervise Israel-Hamas Ceasefire”

-

A team of 200 US military personnel is set to be sent to the Middle East to supervise the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas following negotiations facilitated by President Donald Trump, according to senior US officials. Admiral Brad Cooper, heading the US military’s Central Command, will lead the team responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with the ceasefire terms. The team will also include military representatives from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and potentially the UAE.

Emphasizing that no US troops will enter Gaza, officials highlighted the collaborative nature of the mission, with Israeli authorities maintaining constant communication with the team. The presence of Admiral Cooper has reportedly instilled confidence among Arab nations and signaled US commitment to upholding the agreed-upon terms.

The US personnel’s primary objective is to establish a joint control center and coordinate with various security forces to prevent conflicts with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
