YPAB holds ‘Career Mania’

YPABDaily Dhaka Times: Young Professionals Association of Bangladesh (YPAB), a community platform of young professionals, organized a career based event titled ‘Career Mania’at Bishwa Shahitto Kendro loacted at Bangla Motor in the capital on Friday.

YPAB organized the event aiming to develop the skills of young professionals and interested young minds, according organizers.

Two different sessions titled ‘the Art of Corporate Presentation and Communication’ and ‘Personality Branding of a Corporate Leader’ was conducted by two corporate speakers.

‘The Art of Corporate Presentation and Communication’ sessions were conducted by ABC Radio Sales and Marketing Manager Syed Abul Hasnat Rubbyyet,  while Tupperware Bangladesh National Sales Manager Misha Mahjabeen conducted the session titled ‘Personality Branding of a Corporate Leader’ here.

Misha Mahjabeen focused on personality branding and importance of personality branding of professionals. She said, “If you are an individual you are a unique brand.

Do improve your own brand image, because in this digital world each of your activity is being watched and that impacts to your company’s brand equity even your Facebook status.”

She motivated the participants how to make themselves as brand so that they can represent as a distinguish individual. To enhance the competencies of personality branding of every professionals for personal gain as well as organizational profit.

Syed Abul Hasnat Rubbyyet expressed from his career experience about the mentioned topics.

He advised on his speech, ‘to be presentable, be open, concentrate on body languages and prepare with practice. He emphasized to follow great world leaders and presenters to develop individual skill factors.’

He believes proper presentation and communication skill is the key of success for any professionals.

Around 30 participants attended at the event, where most of them were young professionals and university students as well.

Moriom Akhter Nila, Sub-editor at Shajgoj.com, also one of the participants, said, “The seminar Career Mania [Vol-1] was really helpful for young professionals like us.

I would like to highly appreciate the YPAB to avail this kind of opportunities. What we learnt from that session.

I think it will stay in my mind and put into professional life as well. And I am keenly waiting for their next career mania.”

Founder of YPAB, Tarif Mohammad Khan said, “With the motto of ‘Skilled Bangladsh Better Bangladesh’ we already are focused to develop the young professionals as skilled one.

The objective was to establish a platform like this is to create and provide a network for young professionals to come together and work towards enhancing their skills to be able to keep up with the trends and demands of the current corporate field, as well as widen their approach to achieve global competence.

We believe development is a continuous process and hence initiative like Career Mania can help the young professionals as well as potential professionals to know about corporate world and prepare as per the next generation demand of global world.”

Young Professionals Association of Bangladesh (YPAB) is an organization having the aim of establishing a new concept for leading today’s young professionals, in order to support them developing their professional skills.

YPAB’s focus is to create and provide a network for young professionals to come together and work towards enhancing their skills to be able to keep up with the trends and demands of the current corporate field, as well as widen their approach to achieve global competence.
