Huawei launches new gadget in BD

Daily Dhaka Times: Huawei, a global technology brand has launched its latest flagship smartphone Huawei G7 Plus in Bangladesh on Sunday.

Huawei Director of Device Business Ingmar Wang launched the device at an event at a city hotel.

The device has high-end smartphone features at a very reasonable price. The phone is designed to deliver solid and consistent performance to its user. Users who rely heavily on their smartphone for their social and business purposes will love this new device from Huawei.

Huawei has put reliability on top of their list when they designed and manufactured this phone. The phone uses premium grade components to deliver the best quality to the users.

The Huawei G7 Plus boasts an outstanding battery life. The 3000 mAh battery offers up to eight hours of online video streaming, 10 hours of phone calls or six hours of web browsing. The smart dual antenna of Huawei G7 Plus with switching technology allows up to 40 percent higher quality connectivity and 100 percent stronger signal strength in weak-signal environments than other similar devices.

The Huawei G7 Plus has enhanced fingerprint technology for multiple functions, making it faster, more accurate, more ergonomic and both safer and easier to use. The body of the device is composed of aircraft grade aluminum. The G7Plus has a 2.5D display with slightly curved edge screen. The display is 5.5 inches with a 1920*1080 full HD screen. With a 13MP BSI lens rear-facing camera with F2.0 aperture, 28 mm wide-angle lens, anti-vibration, an RGBW sensor and a dedicated Image Signal Processor typically only found in professional digital SLRs.

It has a four color RGBW sensor which enables it to enhance brightness by 32% and reduce noise in low light photos by 78%. The front camera is 5MP. The G7Plus houses a 1.5GHz 64bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 series chipset (4×1.5GHz+ 4×1.2GHz), and a powerful Qualcomm Adreno 405 series GPU. The phone has 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, expandable up to 128GB with MicroSD card. It supports dual SIM and 4G. Among sensors it has a gravity sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor and a magnetic sensor.

Recently, Huawei has announced their performance results for the third quarter of 2015, where it witnessed a steady growth. 33% of this growth came from mid-to-high end devices. Huawei shipped 27.4 million in the July-September period of the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 63 percent. Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, expressed his confidence that Huawei will reach its goal of shipping 100 million units by the year’s end. On year-on-year basis, Huawei’s smartphone shipments grew by 98% in Europe and 70% in Middle-East and Africa region.

The Huawei G7 Plus is priced at BDT 34,990. The phone will be available in the Huawei showrooms in Basundhara City, Jamuna Future Park and Huawei Brand Image Shops around the country. It will also be available in the leading mobile phone markets of Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and other major cities.
